About Me

Alejandro Mira

 

       My name is Mr. Alejandro Mira. I'm a first grade Dual Spanish Language teacher and I come from Spain where I have taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade for nine years but this is my first time as a teacher in The United States. I am very excited to be teaching at ILTexas-Keller using the dual language program. It is with great pleasure to serve you and your children, providing them the best education I can each and every day.

 

      My philosophy of education is “not all children are ready to learn the same thing, at the same time, in the same way” so I will make a safe and motivated environment. I will do everything possible to stimulate the desire to learnt in the minds of my students. My goal for this year is for each of my students to have a great year of learning and growth while at the same time having fun doing it in a safe environment.

 

      As a teacher I aspire to be a positive influence in my students’ lives, and one of the sentence that inspires me is:

 

 “The words convince but the example drag” 

 

      Lastly, I always strive to achieve a healthy home-school relationship since it's vital to your child's success.
